The Wedding Dress is an installation in which questions about private and public meet. It is also trying to show a childhood and life of a woman, her fears and fantasies through the images from family album and a amateur photos. In this work a the photograph is a link between reality and fantasy.
Orly Dahan (born in 1973). The artist comes from Israel, she studied photography in Paris VIII University where she wrote her thesis on idea of autobiography. Now she lives in Paris.
