Everyday thousands of Poles exchange information, thoughts and emotions through internet websites with chat rooms and IRC channels. They can also make voice and video conferences using simple web cameras and interfaces which enable them to anonymously broadcast moving images to others. It inspires extraordinary creativity in the virtual world, but at the same time provokes potentially dangerous situations in the real one. These moving images, reproduced out of context, suggest a paradoxically objective image without the knowledge of the broadcaster.
Konrad Pustoła. A graduate of Warsaw University, Faculty of Economic Sciences. This year graduate of Polish Filmschool, Lodz. Specialises in photography of provinces, cities and people. Cooperates with press. Participates in social events. Exhibits his works in galleries. His works are both in Polish and foreign collections. He is art editor for "Krytyka Polityczna" magazine.
