Nothing Special is a story about Europe in times of transformation, caught by an eye sensitive to scenes in which solemnity of participants is in contrast to objective humour of the situation. Anecdote is captured here with a large measure of irony and dangerously comes close to tragicomedy.
Martin Kollar (born in 1971). Born in Žilina, Slovakia. Member of famous Agence VU since 2003. Laureate of number of prizes, among others, the first place in FujiFilm Euro Press Photo Awards (twice). Director of photography in a number of films.
