PHILIPPE BRAULT / L'OEIL PUBLIC Mullens Galeria Pauza / Pauza Gallery
"The heart and soul of America reside here, in West Virginia" (G.W Bush, September 2004) - on the borders of the Appalachians, land of coal and hunting games. Mullens is a small town located between a railroad and a river. 1800 souls, seven churches and no one out. Overlooking the city are a cross... and three loudspeakers, thanks to which the sound of chimes stream across the town, four times a day.
Philippe Brault (born in 1965). Member of l'Oeil Public since 2005. After several years spent in the audiovisual field, he dedicates himself to photography from 1993.
